May 4, 2018 By Helen Bradford

Airport Employee

An airport employee was fatally stabbed by his colleague in the recreation room.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – The Philadelphia authorities recently arrested a 35-year-old Frontier Airlines employee after he fatally stabbed one of his coworkers. Based on the police report, the incident, which occurred in Philadelphia International Airport’s recreation room, stemmed from a dispute over a light switch. The airport employee was apprehended later that day and charged with first-degree murder.

Airport Employee and Victim Were on Clean-Up Duty

John Walker, a Philadelphia police lieutenant, declared that on Thursday morning the law enforcement officials were summoned to the Philadelphia International Airport by an individual who told the emergency operator that another person was gravely injured.

Upon arriving at the airport’s E Terminal, the first responders identified 35-year-old male bleeding profusely from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery but was declared dead later that day.

Based on the police report, the victim and three other people, all of them Worldwide Flight Services employees, were in the airport’s recreation room when an argument ensued between the airport employee and his 28-year-old colleague.

According to eyewitnesses, the knife-wielding suspect was already in the recreation room when his victim entered and switched off the lights. The man got up and went to turn on the lights. Again, the other airport employee would switch them off.

A couple of minutes later, the two of them started arguing. Things got out of hand when the 35-year-old man drew a knife and stabbed his colleague in the stomach. He was able to flee before the authorities arrived.

He was later taken into custody by the airport police and charged with first-degree murder. Lieutenant Walker declared that the suspect and the victim were on clean-up duty that day. He also mentioned that both might have been on edge prior to the incident as they had to work in high temperatures.

Former Lawyer Donning Hazmat Suit Threatened Debtor to Cut Penis with Bolt Cutters

April 27, 2018 By Helen Bradford

Former Lawyer Gets Prison Time

The former lawyer reportedly wore a similar hazmat suit when he attacked his debtor.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – On Thursday, a former lawyer was sentenced to 20 years behind bars for attempted murder, kidnapping, and robbery. The court documents reveal that the 52-year-old ex-lawman and his accomplice kidnapped an individual in January 2016 and threatened to remove his genitals with bolt cutters over a $60 debt.

Former Lawyer and Accomplice Ambushed Victim in Basement

James William Woolley, 52, and Monique Antoine Roscoe have been sentenced to 20 years behind bars for kidnapping, torturing, and threatening to kill an individual in January 2016.

According to the police report, Woolley, who was a lawyer, contacted Kimberly Murphy in January over a debt.  Murphy told Woolley and Roscoe that another individual, whose identity the authorities refused to disclose, owes her $60 and that she doesn’t know what to do in order to get her money back.

On the day of the assault, Murphy called the victim and asked him to visit her at her Birmingham house. The authorities declared that the individual also had something to pick up from Murphy’s home.

Following his arrival, Murphy told the victim to head downstairs, in the basement, to grab a toolbox. Upon descending, the man got jumped by the former lawyer and his accomplice who, allegedly, were wearing hazmat suits.

The police report mentions that the victim could not provide an accurate description of what the assailants were wearing. The victim said that the two were wearing hazmat suits but given the fact that the basement was poorly lit, they could have easily been chicken suits or painter outfits.

Reportedly, after being jumped by the former lawyer and Roscoe, the victim, who was held at gunpoint, was directed to take a sit on a wooden chair. After that, Woolley kept asking him about the $60 debt. At one point, the individual took out a pair of bolt cutters and threatened to cut off his fingers.

When the victim told Wooley that he doesn’t know anything about the debt, the former lawyer placed the cutters on his genitals and threatened to slit them.

After arriving at the location, the authorities discovered a Hispanic male with superficial woods. The victim told the authorities that he was waiting on the platform when he was approached by an Africa-American man.

Based on the victim’s testimony, he spent some time talking to the individual who, apparently, was bothered by his presence on the platform. At one point, their conversation turned into yelling and cursing.

Nationwide Manhunt for Losing Streak Lois Continues

April 18, 2018 By Helen Bradford

Losing Streak Lois

Losing Streak Lois is still on the run and might kill again.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – The Florida authorities are still trying to determine the whereabouts of Lois Reiss, the 56-year-old Bloomington Prairie resident, who gunned down two people since March. Nicknamed ‘Losing Streak Lois’ due to her gambling addition, the suspect might soon run out of resources and will be forced to kill again, authorities declared.

Losing Streak Lois Befriended Victim in a Fort Myers Bar

Based on the latest police report, Lois Reiss managed to coax her latest victim, 59-year-old Pamela Hutchinson, while at a Fort Myers bar. The establishment’s security camera shows Reiss having a couple of drinks with her victims and even telling each other jokes. Authorities believe that Reiss might have fed Pamela a fictitious life story in order to lure her into a trap.

Several days later, Pamela’s body would have been found in her house. The first responders declared the woman dead at the scene, with a single gunshot wound to her head.

A house search revealed that Reiss pillaged Pamela’s house, stealing her ID card, car keys, driver’s license, and several credit cards, which she would later use. The investigators believe that Reiss befriended and killed Hutchinson because the resemblance to her victim was uncanny.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Reiss case, the Minnesota woman also known by nickname Losing Streak Lois has been on the run since early March, when she gunned down her husband in their Bloomington Prairie home.

Conclusion

Carmine Maceno, the Lee County Undersheriff, declared that the woman is a “stone-cold killer” and that she uses her grandmother-like demeanor to befriend and kill people. So far, the authorities managed to determine that Losing Streak Lois was last seen somewhere in the Corpus Christi area, driving Hutchinson’s white Acura TL.

Police officials cautioned that the woman is armed, extremely dangerous, and should not be approached.

Kentucky Teen Arrested for Purchasing Assault Rifle With Tattoo Money

March 28, 2018 By Helen Bradford

Kentucky Teen and AR-15

The Kentucky teen told police that he grew tired of being physically and verbally abused at school.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Timothy Felker, an 18-year-old Kentucky teen, was recently taken into custody after the authorities learned that he purchased an AR-15 assault riffle with tattoo money he received from his mother. He also bought 500 rounds of ammo. The teen was booked into county jail and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.

Kentucky Teen Told Classmates that He Wants to Kill Them

On the 19th of February, while waiting to board a flight at the Blue Grass Airport, Timothy Felker was arrested and charged with planning a shooting at his school.

According to the Kentucky authorities, Felker was under observation since the 16th of February, when an anonymous person used the online platform STOP (Safety Tipline Online Prevention) to flag down the individual’s threats.

The tip mentioned something about the Kentucky teen talking to specific people at the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and telling them about his intention to gun them down. More than that, after analyzing Felker’s social media profile, the authorities discovered several photos of Felker holding an AR-15 rifle, sometimes pointed at the camera as he wanted to shoot someone, and sometimes with the barrel in his mouth.

Following his arrested, the Kentucky teen confessed that, around December 2017, his mother gave him an undisclosed sum of money for a tattoo. The teen allegedly used that money to purchase the assault rifle and approximately 500 rounds of ammunition.

Conclusion

When Felker’s mother was informed regarding her son’s charges, the woman claims she didn’t know about her son’s plan nor about the firearm. The woman agreed to have the weapon and ammo removed from her home by the authorities.

Apparently, Felker’s gesture was motivated by revenge, the Kentucky teen admitting that he was bullied at his high school. He was planning on shooting up the entire class and then committing suicide.

Florida Woman Rushed to the Hospital with Burns After Ramming Car into Sheriff’s Substation

March 20, 2018 By Helen Bradford

Florida Woman Tried to Burn Down Sheriff's Office

The Florida woman who crashed her car in Pembroke Sheriff’s substation filled the vehicle with fire accelerants.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT –  The Broward County Sheriff’s Office declared that a woman was rushed to the hospital with third-degree burns after she was involved in a peculiar accident. After breaking up with her boyfriend, the Florida woman attempted to blow up the Pembroke Sheriff’s Substation using a car filled with accelerants.

Florida Woman Kept Babbling about Her Unhappy Love Affair

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, around afternoon, a woman pulled her car in front of the County’s south district office. After waiting for a while, the woman pushed the gas pedal to the floor and rammed her car into the Pembroke Sheriff’s Office community room.

Fortunately, no one was inside the room when the driver, who has yet to be identified, crashed her car.

According to one eyewitness, a hired painter, the woman crashed through the wall and the vehicle ignited inside. The man rushed inside the building to see if the driver was unharmed. When he saw the vehicle ablaze, he went to the car, broke open the door, and yanked the woman out of the flames.

The firefighter managed to dull the flames before it spread to the adjacent building.

An investigation revealed that when the painter pulled the woman from the car she was delusional, allegedly mumbling something about breaking up with her husband or boyfriend. Furthermore, the car’s inspection revealed that it was packed with fire accelerants, meaning that this wasn’t a car accident, but a deliberate act to blow up the Pembroke substation.

The Florida woman has been rushed to the hospital to receive treatment for superficial burn. At this point, the authorities have pressed no charges against the driver nor have they excluded the possibility of this being a terroristic threat.
