Tesla wants to expand its share on the car market not only by dropping prices by more than half but also by launching a crossover version as well. The New Model 3 Tesla will come in Sedan and Crossover versions.
Crossovers are one of the most well liked types of cars in the U.S. even more popular in recent years than the all reliable seller, the midsize Sedan.
And with this idea in mind Tesla made plans to develop the new Model 3 into several versions, including a Sedan and a Crossover.
The Tesla Model 3 is rumored to have a 25% increased power range, taking the total driving range to around 250 miles . In comparison the most power economical Model S version has a range of 253.
Tesla has made serious improvements in comfort, style and refinement between the Tesla Roadster Model and the Model S.
So it is expected that a company that pays that much attention to its customers opinions and changing demands, will deliver an even more polished product when it launches the Model 3.
The Model 3 is set to have its full specifications announced in 2016 with sales starting in 2017.
Not only that but the starting price of a Model 3 will be around 35.000 dollars, about half the starting price of the cheapest Tesla Model on the market now.
With battery technology becoming cheaper to produce, the Tesla car manufacturer can reduce the prices for its products and make them more accessible to the average car buyer. Tesla uses lithium-ion batteries to store electrical power, the same type of battery that normally powers laptops and Smartphone’s.
The most important factor when buying a Tesla is, that it does not use any type of fossil fuels.
It does not produce pollution while running and if the price for the new models is correct, the cars will save anyone that buys them a lot of money every year.
With more and more green energy being produced all over the world, electricity prices have already started significantly dropping meaning that the Tesla will become even cheaper to drive.
