Fallout Shelter will be available for download on Android devices, too.
Based on the game developer’s recent Twitter pic, post-apocalyptic Fallout Shelter arrives on android devices on August 13th. The news did not trigger much excitement on behalf of game lovers as the new version is a mere upgrade meant to keep fans busy until the Fallout Shelter 4 version is officially released.
Bethesda, the producer of the Fallout Shelter game app has uttered the magic words all game lovers were expecting to hear: Fallout Shelter is coming on Android Devices on August 13th. The game was initially launched on iOS-based devices in June 2015, which caused lots of discontent among Android users.
The developing company has now come up with a solution for the latter; they will allow Android users to download the upgraded version of Fallout Shelter 3 for free starting with August 13. The news has slightly appeased players, who are still eagerly waiting to get their hands on the fourth version of the famous game app.
The producer has invited players at the end of its official announcement to visit the website of the game in order to stay update with the recent upgrades that have been made for this in-between version of the game. Based on the information provided on the website, players will have access to all the updates that have been made so far, including Mr. Handy the much-awaited robotic companion that the company has been hinting about in the past.
Players, who have Mr. Handy on their side can perform various game tasks and activities, as the description writes. Users can select Mr. Handy to collect objects from the Vault or loot from the wasteland as it is very resistant. The character can also be used to defend the Vault from other enemies in the game, as well as from possible disasters.
In addition, gamers can use real money to purchase resources in the Vault, game developers have later on informed.
Mr. Handy is not yet available on iOS-based apps, but Bethesda has reassured these users that they, too, will be able to use the robotic companion on August 13, at the same time with Android users.
As for the Fallout Shelter 4, Bethesda has further stated that the game version will not be released sooner than next year. It looks like fans will have to wait a little bit longer until they can finally get their hands on the new version of the game.
