If the Senate would not pass a house-backed bill for the Department of Homeland Security, House Speaker John Boehner would blame the Democrats and that he would be prepared to let the funding for the US department lapse.
In this connection, the Senate Republicans have thrice failed in advancing the bill seeking to reverse what the US President Barack Obama originally ordered on the policy of immigration, as a part of the condition for funding the homeland security agency. The Democrats have intercepted the measure by saying that funding shouldn’t be held up due to an unrelated dispute of policy. According to Boehner, it is high time for the Democrats to get their act together, on a Fox News program last Sunday, taped February 13.
