
HTC Vive VR headset can be pre-ordered from HTC’s official site.
BEACON TRANSCRIPT – In a recent comment, HTC has declared that starting today at 3 pm, everyone will be able to buy their very own HTC Vive VR headset. Apart from this stupendous statement, HTC discloses the price for HTC Vive VR. According to HTC, users from the UK can buy the device for 689 pounds.
It will seem that our dreams of engaging in the ultimate experience will come true. In press commentary, HTC stated that starting with the 29th of February, the HTC Vive VR headset can be preordered from HTC’s official website.
Moreover, the tech giant also had the courtesy of disclosing the price for the innovative device. According to HTC’s official page, a potential buyer from the UK can pre-order the Vive VR device for 689 pounds. As for the rest of Europe, anyone can preorder the VR headset for 900 euros.
The company also listed the retails price of the United States. So, if you’re living in the States, you can now preorder the awesome VR reality maker for a measly price of 800 bucks, VAT and transportation taxes not included.
But don’t let the steep price discourage you because HTC has another surprise in store for you. So, apart from the actual VR headset, the box will also feature 3 VR- ready games and hybrid application entitled Vive Phone Services.
Let’s take a closer look at the games included in Vive’s box. The first game is called Tilt Brush, powered by Google. It’s basically an evolved version of paint, but with an added touch of VR magic. Players will be able to paint, draw and sketch almost anything, using only their imagination and the included hand controllers. Your room will become your canvas with this awesome new application.
The second game included in the pack is called Job Simulator. Although the title is not that enticing, the story behind the game is appealing. Apparently the year is 2030 and mankind has been replaced by a race of sentient robots. The player will in control of a robot who goes to great lengths in order to understand the concept of having a job.
And the last game included in the pack is called Fantastic Contraction. Basically, it’s a spin-off after Crazy Machines. The player will stand on a floating island filled with grass and under a blue sky. The whole purpose of the game is to construct an amazing machine and to set it in motion.
The other service offered by HTC, the Vive Phone Services, lets you place calls, receive calls and write text messages using the VR headset paired with your smartphone.
HTC discloses the price for HTC Vive VR headset and also declared that the device will hit all the markets until the 5th of April.
