LG announced today the release of two new smartphone that will join the G4 family.
The new smartphones are called G4 Stylus and G4c, and according to LG officials, both new phones will be available in the next few weeks.
LG Stylus is 5.7 inches and is larger than the 5.5 G4 which is considered its counterpart. As its name suggests, the new LG smartphone features the Rubberdium Stylus feature that can be used for scribbling directly on the screen.
In South Korea and North America the new LG G4 Stylus will be called G Stylo.
Its smaller brother, LG G4c is only 5 inches long and according to LG representatives, this smartphone has all the premium features of the previous G4, except it will come in a more compact form.
Juno Cho, CEO of LG Electronics, stated that the new G4 Stylus and G4c represent a perfect example of what the company means by a smartphone with premium features but at an affordable price range.
The Stylus features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front one; it is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that can be easily removed, a 1.2GHz quad core processor or a 1.4GHz octa core processor that are compatible with LTE or 3G, respectively.
The new LG smartphone comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and for extra storage space it has a microSD card slot.
All these features make it a little less powerful than the previous premium LG G4 that runs on a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
It can also support up 20 2TB of extra storage that can be added using the microSD card slot.
The G4c features an 8MP camera and a front one designed for selfies of 5 megapixels. The battery is a 2,544mAh and can be removed as well as with the Stylus.
Both new LG smartphones come with exclusive features like Glance View, Gesture Shot and Knock Code; they also feature 1GB of RAM and an 8GB internal storage. Also, both phones have a microSD card slot.
LG G4 Stylus has LTE and 3G configurations, comes in Metallic Silver and Floral White.
LG G4c only has LTE configuration and is available in Ceramic White, Metallic Grey and Shiny Gold.
In the United States the LG G4 Stylo can be bought from Boost Mobile for the price of $199.99.
