Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will be $50 cheaper
BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Google has announced that Nexus 5X and Nexus 6p will be $ 50 cheaper.
‘Tis the season to b… uy a smartphone, as Google has just made two of its best ones more affordable. If you’ve wanted one for yourself or were puzzled about what to buy your girlfriend or boyfriend, this might be the answer for you.
This offer will be available until the end of the month and the year and it is paired with free overnight shipping. Since these two phones are rather expensive, the curtailing of the price tag is more than welcome.
The reduction is not significant, but together with the free shipping offer, it is rather appealing.
Although Nexus 5X is made of plastic, it is the best smartphone of its kind. It has a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a memory of 2GB, a screen of 5.2-inch, which is also Full HD, and a 13 megapixel camera.
However, it is also the most expensive, at $ 379. So, during the holiday season, it will come down to $ 329. Still much higher than other smartphones of its category, but a tad bit more affordable. Its features might be worth spending that extra dollar on.
Nexus 6P is also a force to be reckoned with in the smartphone market. It has passed all stress tests with flying colors, but we leave it up to you to decide whether to trust these tests or not.
The 6P is the first all metal smartphone and it was designed by Huawei. It has a Snapdragon 810, a 3 GB memory, a 5.7-inch screen and a 12.3 megapixel camera. And it is not even the most expensive phone sporting these specifications. So, with the price reduction, it will be even more affordable.
The overnight shipping is a different story, though. The discount will be available until December 30, but in order to get the free shipping as well, you have to place your order between the 16th and 22nd of December.
So, if you’ve had your eye on either of the phones, you had better make your move as soon as possible, because there isn’t much time left.
