BEACON TRANSCRIPT – The Butler County Sheriff’s deputies recently arrested a 35-year-old Ohio babysitter for allegedly beating a 3-year-old girl to near death. Following the incident, the girl was declared brain dead and isn’t expected to leave more than a few days. The magistrates dismissed the family’s plea to hold the babysitter without bail.
Ohio Babysitter Claims Girl Tripped and Hit Her Head on Garage Concrete Floor
On Monday, Richard Jones, the Butler County Sheriff, declared that 35-year-old Lindsay Partin had been taken into custody after the authorities discovered that the woman beat a toddler to near death.
According to Jones, on Monday, the deputies were summoned to Jason Wesche’s home by Partin. The woman told the authorities that the girl took a tumble a few minutes back and that she’s unresponsive.
When the Sheriff’s deputies arrived, they’ve noticed that the 3-year-old had several bruises on her body and a head concussion. After she was taken to the hospital, the emergency room physicians discovered, even more, bruising on her body.
Regrettably, the incident left 3-year-old Hannah with irreversible brain damage. At the moment, the toddler is on life support, and the doctors don’t expect her to survive more than a few days, as most of her brain is gone.
The authorities arrested the 35-year-old Ohio babysitter, as she was the only person at home when the toddler ‘fell’. During her police interview, the woman claimed that she never laid a hand on Hannah and the girl fell and hit her head on the garage’s concrete floor.
The woman also said that after the incident, the girl was limp and that she called the authorities after she collapsed in the living room. However, the ER report indicates that the girl was most likely beaten.
At the moment, the Ohio babysitter is being held in the Butler County jail on a $30,000 bond, despite the father’s request.
