First Response has created the Pregnancy Pro, the first pregnancy test that uses Bluetooth technology
BEACON TRANSCRIPT – CES was filled this year with a lot of technological advancements, among them the pregnancy test with Bluetooth technology is now available for expecting high-tech mothers worldwide. The Pregnancy Pro from First Response is the pregnancy stick of the future.
The basic functioning principle of the Pregnancy Pro is still the same as that of an ordinary pregnancy stick test. The shape is the same, and the “mode d’employ” did not change, either.
The only new feature is the small screen that makes it look more like an electronic thermometer. Its purpose is to tell you if the device is ready to connect with your smartphone. And in order to do that, you must first download and install the Pregnancy Pro First Response application that is available for Android and IOS.
The following steps are easy enough. You take the test in the old fashion manner, and then the application will help you spend those long 3 minutes watching something to relax you. Fortunately, the developers behind this innovative women’s product are aware that not all of them enjoy funny videos. Thus, there are 3 different moods from which the expectant customer can choose: “entertain me”, “educate me” and “calm me”.
The 3 minutes spent with the application are also different from user to user because when initialized, the app asks a couple of personal questions so it can better interact with the user. For example, it asks you if you are actually trying to get pregnant, the duration and end of the previous menstrual cycle. All of the questions are designed to make the app better understand the person using it, in order to provide the best service.
Privacy isn’t a matter of concern when it comes to the Pregnancy Pro developed by First Response. The stick generates a code that has to be introduced when launching the application. In this way, you are reassured that all of the information is secured and can only be accessed by the owner of the smartphone on which the security password was introduced.
After the 3 minutes of waiting are up, the user is provided with the test result and useful information in accordance with it. For example, if the result renders to be positive, the app will tell you that it is time to go see a doctor. Also, based on the information provided when answering the questions about the menstrual cycle, it can also calculate a possible due date.
