"Cleanse Your Body of Toxins with a Chicken Nugget Diet"

Chick-File-A printed health tips on a couple of takeout bags.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Forget about greens, fruits and lean meat, because Chick-fil-A has the answer to all our dietary issues. According to the small, yet visible fine print found on the restaurant’s doggie bags, you can cleanse your body of toxins with a chicken nugget diet.

While most US citizens seek out new ways to improve their lifestyle, there are others who choose to take the high road, so to say. And the last place you would want to go in order to gulp down a healthy, well-balanced and nutritional sound meal is Chick-fil-A.

What is Chick-fil-A? Basically, it’s one of the largest fast-food restaurants in the United States, serving only chicken-based meals. It’s basically like a KFC, but without Colonel’s chicken-murdering gaze. Apparently this whole thing erupted when the fast-food chain decided that it’s high time to give its customers a couple of dietary guidelines.

Tray papers filled with nutritional tables and tips were not enough to convince the customer that to feel healthy and slim you first have to start with a well-balanced meal. And so, Chick-fil-A decided to print a couple of special doggie bags.

Once someone would order a meal on the go, he or she would have received a thin paper bag printed with health tips. One of these tips was called the chicken nugget diet, chicken nugget cleanse or the chicken nugget detox.

You can now cleanse your body of toxins with a chicken nugget diet. According to the tips printed on the doggie bags, in order to leave a healthy, disease-free life, you should consider eating more meals per day, but eating less at each meal. This seems like pretty sound advice, considering the fact that any bony fide nutritionist would tell you the same thing.

But, there’s a twist to the print on the doggie bag. The fast-food chain recommends a meal at a regular interval of 3 to four hours. During this impromptu meal, we should consider consuming an 8-pack of searing nuggets.

Of course, this transgression didn’t go unpunished, so to speak. Lisa Moskovitz, a dietician and a nutritionist, who is also the CEO of the NYNG, declared that it’s not a good idea to take fruits and vegetables off the menu for a chicken nugget diet. While this kind of meals are packed with proteins and calories, it would seem that they are still unhealthy. Moreover, such a diet would lead to a whole lot of metabolical and cardiovascular diseases.

Not to mention the fact that you can wave bye-bye to your weight loss plan. We should also add the fact that such a diet is not only unhealthy but expensive. This means that you would have to spend no less than 700 bucks per month on your chicken nugget diet.
