Glow Baby app is more than your garden variety baby tracker and monitor. It’s actually a pretty nifty child encyclopedia which can be used to keep a close eye on your baby’s development. According to the company, the application was specifically designed for young parents who don’t know much about caring for their newborn.

In an age filled with redundant information, parents should be able to find some sort of guide out there who can teach them everything about child caring. This is basically the core philosophy of Glow. Parents are entitled to know everything there is known about their child’s health. And what better way to do it than an all-knowing phone app.

According to the company, the application was designed to fulfill multiple tasks. First of all, Glow Baby is a tracker. Use the app in order to record each and every milestone in your child’s development. Grow charts, first words utters by your child, crawling, walking, sitting up and many other can now be recorded with the Glow baby application.

Moreover, besides recording these things, you can also compare your baby’s score with the official charts. Also, the application contains a heap load of information about infant’s diseases and when it’s time to pay a visit to the doctor.

For example, one of the most useful features of the application is the body temperature monitor. Most parents out there can’t tell if a spike in body temperature can be a sign of disease or of teething (although there are some studies which point out that the two aren’t related). Compare your child’s temperature to the normal parameters found in the database to see if your baby’s fine or if he or she needs to see a doctor.

Another important aspect covered by the application is diaper change. The application provides a little insight on how often should parents change a diaper and how to do it because there are many people out there who don’t know how to change the diaper.

Moreover, the application can also tell you a bit about sleeping cycles and dietary requirements. All in all, the app is pretty useful to have around, especially if you expect your first child.

However, the users can also access premium services by paying a monthly subscription fee of 4 dollars. The premium account adds other features to the app such as private messaging and scoreboards.
