BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Zotac will soon release a combo of three graphic cards which promise many special features for the gaming enthusiasts. The three GTX 1080 Ti include, among others, some cooling options and customizable lights.
The basic graphic card model presented by Zotac is GTX 1080 Ti AMP edition. The top model is GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme, while the base card is GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Blower. At the moment, Zotac revealed more about the first two graphic cards. However, they did not reveal all the specifications, so the gamers will have to wait until the official release.
The cards have customizable lightings
Zotac describe some of the basic features that will be present on both graphic cards. These include the Spectra LED lighting, which gamers can customize and create their own lighting pattern. Another top spec contains 16+2 power phases. These provided a better stability and a uniform distribution of power.
Worried about any heating issues with the cards? Zotac thought of this, too, and they included an IceStorm cooling system that could deal with any heat issue. The AMP edition would be equipped with two 100 mm fans, while the Extreme version would be fashioned with three 90 mm fans.
The Blower card will feature an exquisite design, as it contains a metallic “ExoArmor”. This “armor” features a metallic plate which is linked directly with the CPU and has special thermal pads placed strategically on other components that might overheat.
The cooling mechanism is high-tech
If you thought that the cards have a complex cooling system, then you would be surprised to find that this is not enough. The fans are equipped with a high-tech mechanism that measures the temperatures and establishes the speed at which the fans should spin, to grant an optimal cooling effect.
Firestorm are the software partners of Zotac which fashioned the graphic cards with the customizable LEDs and the high-tech fans. Also, they equipped the cards with HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPorts, and a DL-DVI connector. One hardware difference is found in the Extreme version, which requires 2.5 expansion slots on the PC.
Zotac did not reveal any details regarding the prices of the graphic cards, but they said that more information was going to be made public soon.
