BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Ubisoft reached the fans’ expectations and finally confirmed the rumors related to the latest Assassin’s Creed title, Origins. During E3 2017, the company released a trailer for the anticipated game, and also announced the launch of an exclusive collector’s edition. Unfortunately for the fans, they would have to spend quite a lot to acquire such an edition.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will feature an $800 collector’s edition
Many publishers and game developers resort to such collector’s editions to offer players some special items for the title in questions. These items usually include special artworks, soundtracks, or in-game bonuses, but one thing stays the same. They are a little more expensive than the regular game.
However, Assassin’s Creed Origins collector’s edition puts players at much higher expenses than they would have probably expected. It is called Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition, and will be available for the overwhelming price of $800. Some might say it is much too expensive, but Ubisoft has probably designed it only for the most dedicated fans.
What does the deluxe pack offer?
Some fans might be willing to pay the price, but what would they receive in return? First of all, the Origins legendary edition will come with a Gold Steelbook Edition of the game. Of course, many other physical items are included, such as the statue of Bayek, the protagonist, and Senu, his eagle, measuring 28.7 inches.
Other items include an art book, art cards, four lithographs signed by the artists from the Montreal Studio, a season pass, the soundtrack of the game, and the amulet of the eagle Senu. Are all these objects worth 800$?
This depends on the gamers, and how big fans they are. We would say there are plenty of items in the deluxe edition pack, and it represent a true delight for collectors and diehard fans of the franchise.
