BEACON TRANSCRIPT – NASA made a huge discovery last week when they explained there are 13 astrological signs, not only 12. According to them, there is one more constellation, named Ophiuchus, which was not seen by the Babylonians, who made the zodiac signs. It is located between the constellations Aquila and Hercules. To understand better, Ophiuchus has Scorpius on the south side and Sagittarius to the east.
The space agency tried to understand why people in those time did not take into consideration all the astrological signs, including this one. It seems that one of the reasons this happens is because during the winter in the northern hemisphere, the constellation is invisible. The only moment when Ophiuchus can be seen is during summer. However, the Babylonians could have decided to pick 12 astrological signs, one for every month of the year.
If you were born between November 29 and December 17, you could say that you have been living a lie, according to NASA. Think about all those times when you read the wrong horoscope. It seems that Ophiuchus has already been used in some cultures. It was associated a person, named Imhotep, who lived in Egypt in the 27th Century BCE. There are others who think that he was the Greek god of healing and medicine.
Here is what you need to know about this astrological sign. People who are born under Ophiuchus should be wiser and have more knowledge than most of us. They could be great as architects or builders. Moreover, it is believed they will have a big family, but leave home at an early age. What is really interesting about it is that it does not have an opposite sign. You will not be able to judge your relationships using the horoscope.
There are many people who believe in astrological signs, so this discovery could mean a lot for those who read their horoscope every week to see how life will be for them or how much money they will get in the future.
However, NASA said they are not going to change the zodiac. They just did the math and wanted to share with the people this discovery. Things have changed since the Babylonian choose those 12 astrological signs of their zodiac. Constellations have different sizes, so the sun stays more in some of them and less in others. We are not expecting any change regarding the horoscope, in the future.
