Security Guard List As Suspect in 1974 Stanford University Chapel Slaying Kills Himself

June 29, 2018 By Troy G. Bennett

chapel

The Stanford University chapel slaying remained unsolved for 44 years.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – San Jose Police Department reported that Steve Crawford, a security guard listed as a person of interest in the 1974 ritualist murder of Arlis Perry, committed suicide on Thursday. The man, who was wanted in connection with the Stanford University chapel, turned the gun on him after the authorities knocked on his door.

Stanford University Chapel Slaying Pinned on Ted Bundy or Occultists

On the 12th of October 1974, North Carolina homicide detectives were called to Stanford University’s chapel, after a person discovered the body of a 19-year-old woman.

The authorities later identified the victim as 19-year-old Arlis Perry, who had been living on campus with her husband.

Perry’s death baffled the authorities. According to a police report dated October 1974, the victim had been discovered laying on the ground, with an ice pick embedded in the back of her head. Furthermore, Arlis was naked from the waist down.

The homicide detectives investigating Arlis’ murder stated that there were altar candles on the woman’s torso. Later, the county’s coroner would write that the assailant also placed altar candles inside Mrs. Perry’s body.

Unfortunately, the case was put on ice, as the authorities did not have enough leads to incriminate a person.

Decades later, North Carolina authorities reopened Perry’s case. Encouraged by the new DNA sampling techniques that led to the arrest of Joseph James DeAngelo, the notorious Golden State Killer, and Raymond Rowe, the man responsible for the murder of an elementary school teacher in 1992.

After applying the method to several samples collected from the crime scenes, the authorities discovered that Perry’s killer was the same man who discovered her body – Steve Crawford, the campus security guard.

Conclusion

On Thursday, several lawmen knocked on 72-year-old Crawford’s door to inform him that he had been named a person of interest in the Stanford University chapel slaying.

Crawford, who talked with the deputies through the door, brandished a gun, prompting the officers to back up. Several minutes late, a gunshot was heard from inside.

June 26, 2018 By Troy G. Bennett

weapon

Monalisa Perez used a similar gun to shoot her boyfriend.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – On Friday, the Norman County prosecutor released the audio transcript of Perez’s YouTube prank which claimed the life of her boyfriend last year. The transcript reveals that Monalisa Perez was very much against shooting Pedro Ruiz III in the chest with the .50 caliber firearm.

Monalisa Perez Told Her Boyfriend that the Prank Could Go Sideways

This Friday, the Norman County prosecutor decided to release portions of the YouTube clip in which Perez gunned down her 22-year-old boyfriend.

Moments before Ruiz III hits the ground, Monalisa Perez could be heard arguing with him. According to the audio transcript, the woman told Ruiz III that the prank he had planned wasn’t safe and that he could lose his life.

After that, the man could be heard telling his then-pregnant girlfriend that his plan would work and that he’s done it before. Before Perez pulled the trigger, Ruiz III told her to hit only the encyclopedia he held to the chest and nothing else.

Again, the man could be heard telling his girlfriend that the bullet won’t go through the book. Moments before he passed away, Ruiz told Monalisa Perez that if this prank went sideways, he would end up in heaven. More than that, the man also told her that he would probably be denied entrance by Jesus who would chuckle at the ‘stupid’ way he died.

Conclusion

With two cameras in place and over 30 people watching, including the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Monalisa Perez pointed the gun at Ruiz’s chest and pulled the trigger.

Last year, Perez was sentenced to 180 days in prison after she pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter. As part of the court deal, Perez will serve 30 days each year in prison for the next six years.

June 19, 2018 By Troy G. Bennett

methamphetamine

Florida man dropped methamphetamine on sheriff’s desk and asked for a field test.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Because working as a Sheriff’s deputy is seldom dull, we give you the story of a man from Florida who recently ended up in jail. Apparently, the individual, a Hawthorne resident, called the Sheriff’s Office to ask him to come over and test his methamphetamine.

Florida Suspect Said He Had a Bad Reaction to Methamphetamine

What would you do if you’ve just purchased some methamphetamine? Call the authorities to have it tested, of course. As unlikely as it would sound, a 49-year-old man from Hawthorne, Florida did just that.

Putnam County Sheriff’s recalls the mildly amusing incident which took place at the beginning of last week. The man’s story was shared on the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.

So, a guy calls the Sheriff’s Office because he had a very bad and very ‘violent’ reaction to a recently purchased batch of methamphetamine. The individual, later identified as 49-year-old Douglas Peter Kelly, told the Sheriffs that he thought his drug dealer gave him the wrong merchandise.

Wanting to play along with the individual, the sheriff kindly asked Mr. Kelly to come down to the station to have this drugs tested for free. One would think that a lawman inviting you to bring drugs in a police station is a trap but not our fearless Florida man.

As soon as he arrived at the Sheriff’s Office, Kelly was taken into custody and charged with methamphetamine possession. He’s currently being held at the Putnam County Jail. A magistrate set Kelly’s bond at $5,000.

Conclusion

In the Facebook post, the sheriff wrote that the suspect dropped the tinfoil-wrapped meth on his desk and thanked him for wanting to test his drugs.

To conclude the post, the sheriff reached and said that anyone could come down to the station to have their drugs tested for free.

The woman has been injected with 90 billion white cells during the experimental treatment.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – A Florida woman given only three months to live says that she managed to win the battle against cancer with the help of experimental treatment. Judy Perkins of Port Lucie now lives a cancer-free life. The woman said if not for a one-in-a-million shot experimental treatment, she would have died.

Experimental Treatment Based on Reverse Engineered White Cells

During a recent BBC interview, Judy Perkins, a 52-year-old woman from Port Lucie, Florida, shared her life’s story.

Two and a half years ago, the woman was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Following the grim diagnosis, underwent surgery. As part of her cancer treatment, Judy has had a total mastectomy as all as having all her lymph nodes removed.

Post-surgery, the woman had several rounds of hormonal and chemotherapy. Sadly, the doctors told Mrs. Perkins that all attempts to keep her cancer from spreading failed.

Before the experimental treatment, Judy’s cancer had spread to her liver and chest. The doctors had given Judy three months to live.

As the Florida woman recalls, soon after she received the devasting news, she was approached by Dr. Steven Rosenberg from the National Institutes of Health.

Rosenberg wanted to sign up Mrs. Perkins for a highly experimental treatment. The woman agreed, regardless of the outcome.

As the doctor explained, the first step of Mrs. Perkins therapy was to study her white cells to see which ones can detect genetic mutations. Step two was growing these white cells in the lab and reprogramming them to fight against cancer.

Conclusion

The last of the therapy was injecting those cells back into the patient. Over the course of several days, Mrs. Perkins has been injected with approximately 90 billion reprogrammed white cells.

The experimental treatment proved to be successful. Mrs. Perkins is now cancer free.
