BEACON TRANSCRIPT – The Connecticut authorities recently arrested a 19-year-old Fairfield University student. Fairfield University Student Claims Losing Temper Over Break-Up
On Thursday, the Connecticut law enforcement officials arrested 19-year-old Kathryn A. Mahoney, a Fairfield University student, after the woman allegedly assaulted her boyfriend.
According to the man’s statement, on Thursday, we went to Mahoney’s dorm room to tell her about his decision to end the relationship. When the man confronted Mahoney with the perspective of putting an end to their relationship, the Fairfield University student reportedly lost her temper and jabbed the man in the stomach.
Mahoney’s former boyfriend told the authorities that he tried holding the woman’s shoulders, in an attempt to calm her down. Again, Mahoney’s temper flared, and the woman punched him in the stomach, before landing a second blow to the man’s face.
Fearing the Fairfield University student’s wrath, the man allegedly fled to a friend’s dorm room from where he called the authorities. Later that day, the man drove to the nearby emergency room where he received treatment for facial swelling and possible fractured nose.
The Connecticut authorities later arrested Mahoney and charged her with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. At the moment, the Fairfield University student is being held at county jail on a $1,500 bail.
Again, this comes to proves that Hell, indeed, has no fury as a woman scorned or who’s significant other decides to put an end to their relationship.
It’s unclear whether the woman posted bail or hired an attorney to represent in court, but we do know for certain that Mahoney’s ex will definitely think twice before breaking the news to anyone.
