BEACON TRANSCRIPT – The Georgia law enforcement officials are currently searching for an individual who, allegedly, is posing as a police officer. According to the investigators, the individual stopped two female drivers on Friday night and sexually assaulted them. Both witnesses declared that the suspect was driving an unmarked car with a police light bar.
Fake Cop Pretends to Pat Down Suspects Then Rapes Them
A Cobb County Police Department spokesperson declared that on Friday night, two female drivers had been accosted by an individual who donned a police uniform. The first incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m., northeast of Atlanta, on Nash Road, and it involved a 25-year-old female driver.
According to the victim’s testimony, the suspect stopped the victim’s vehicle, got out of his car, went towards the female driver and raped her.
The second incident involving the same fake cop occurred at around 4:45 a.m., north of Atlanta, in Marietta. As the victim recalls, the arresting ‘officer’ was a 6-feet tall white man in his 30s, with a buzz cut, brown hair, and had a “square-shaped face.”
He was driving a dark-colored vehicle outfitted with a police light bar, but no markings. Similar to the first case, the victim was pulled over in traffic. As the fake cop got out of his vehicle, the woman was preparing her papers, unbeknownst to the suspect’s intentions.
Allegedly, when the victim opened the window in order to hand him the papers, the cop ordered her to get out of the car and submit to a full body search. However, instead of patting her for ID or hidden weapons, the man began groping her and later sexually assaulting her.
After raping the woman, the fake cop got back into his car and drove off. The Atlanta authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for anyone fitting that description.
