Ghost Recon Wildlands gets a competitive multiplayer mode
BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Ghost Recon Wildlands, launched by Ubisoft this year, has easily been the best-selling game of the year so far. The game gathered such huge popularity even without having a competitive multiplayer mode, which was typical of the series. However, this will change soon, as the company announced the release of the PvP for this fall.
Ghost Recon Wildlands Competitive Multiplayer Mod
A recently released trailer shows how the four-versus-four deathmatch, called Ghost War, takes place right after Santa Blanca Cartel has fallen. The Ghosts have to fight a soldier squad and obtain supremacy over the country. The Ghost Recon Wildlands competitive multiplayer mod is confirmed.
You don’t have many options to customize your characters, but you can still use classes like Tank, Scout, or Sniper. What the game will offer you will be open environments where to hold your battles. These are pretty realistic, as they even show you how weather changes.
What you probably will be most excited about is the suppression system. This system makes the battle looks realistic, as your vision gets affected if the enemy is firing at you. Also, the sound features are improved, and you can spot your enemy just by hearing the sounds they made.
You will soon be able to try the open beta
The same suppression mechanism was also present in the previous Ghost Recon game. There, it worked by forcing players to hide when enemies came upon them. While this happened, other players could move and block the opponents’ way. Therefore, such mechanics in a multiplayer allows for many strategies.
This summer, Ubisoft will offer an open beta for Ghost Recon Wildlands. So, if you’re too curious and cannot wait for the official release, you can test the game much earlier. You can download the open beta for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Then, when the game is launched, you will receive it as a full update.
