On Wednesday, New Hampshire Police Department arrested 28-year-old Irakoze Ildephonse.
According to the police report, the suspect had been released from prison two days before the incident after posting bail. Ildephonse had been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred last month.
Two days after getting out of prison, Ildephonse, wearing only a bathrobe at the time, went to a Concord apartment.
According to several eyewitnesses, the New Hampshire man spent some time in front of the apartment complex before making his move.
Out of the blue, Ildephonse ditched his bathrobe and, allegedly, climbed onto the second floor.
Once there, be broke the glass door, and entered the apartment. There were several residents inside the apartment at the time of the break-in. All of them fled the house, seeking refuge inside the car.
When the authorities arrived, they’ve found Ildephonse agitated and, apparently, walking up and down the glass-covered porch.
According to one of the officers at the scene, Ildephonse became violent when the other police officers told him to calm down.
Allegedly, the New Hampshire man tried to wrestle his way out of the apartment by throwing glass shards at the police officers.
He was subdued by Tasers. The authorities found an unresponsive golden retriever inside the apartment. It would appear that Ildephonse punched and chocked the canine after the couplet fled the apartment.
Irakoze Ildephonse was taken into custody and charged with burglary, indecent exposure, violation of bail conditions, cruelty to an animal, criminal mischief, reckless conduct, and simple assault.
