Necropolis will be released on Multiple Platforms

February 27, 2016 By Troy G. Bennett

"Necropolis will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Mac"

Necropolis is very similar to Dark Souls in terms of gameplay.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Are you, by chance, tired of Dragon’s Dogma and Dark Souls II and looking for something more invigorating? Well, then you should definitely check out Necropolis, a new game produced by Harebrained Schemes in collaboration with Bandai Namco. Necropolis will be released on multiple platforms, but the launch date was not disclosed.

Prepare for more gruesome hand-to-hand combat in stylish, cyberpunk-like game, brought to you by the makers of the frustrating Dark Souls. The new title is called Necropolis and it is currently under development.

As stated, the creator of this painstakingly and awesome game is Harebrained Schemes, the same company that brought us smooth games like Shadowrun Returns. Initially, the gaming studio wanted to release a PC and Mac version of the game, but, as fortune favors us, Bandai-Namco disagreed. Thus, the studio had to postpone the PC and Mac version, in favor of a multi-platform version of the game.

According to the studio’s statements, it would seem that when the game will go live, it will feature four different versions, for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Mac. And, as expected, Harebrained did not want to disclose any release date.

So far, we are left with a teaser trailer and a lot or promises. Still, the game itself deserves our full attention because, by the looks of it, it does seem promising.

What is Necropolis? Well, it’s pretty hard to enclose the game in a specific genre, but we can safely say that it’s a dungeon-crawling, hack-and-slash game. What’s even more awesome, is that all the scenes are hand-drawn, giving the game a stylish look.

Also, Necropolis takes the feeling of strangeness and otherworldliness to a whole new level thanks to the cyberpunk-like concept.

The game’s mechanics look good and the characters have some pretty fluidic moves. Now, all of you are probably wondering about the goal of the game. For what we can tell, there’s no specific goal. All that you have to do is to hack and chop up endless hordes of ruthless enemies.

We should also take into account that Bandai-Namco, Dark Soul’s progenitor was also involved in this project. Thus, the player has just one life and one chance to prove his prowess in front of his enemies. Too many hits from your adversaries and you’ll push the daisies.

And believe me that the developers had thought of so many ways in which the player could get killed.

Necropolis will be released on mutiple platforms pretty soon, but we can’t foretell how soon.

The Latest Rumors about the iPad Air 3

January 30, 2016 By Clayton Meason

"The Latest Rumors about the iPad Air 3"

iPad Air 3 will probably launch in March or in September.

BEACON TRANSCRIPT – Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is allegedly planning to release a new Air tablet. Nothing new under the sun so far, taking into account the fact that along with this mythical new tablet Apple wants to release the iPhone 5se. Here are the latest rumors about the iPad Air 3.

As the year sets in, various rumors have already begun to resurface. Everybody is wondering about what Apple is up to. Well, it would seem that the Cupertino tech giant is set on raising some Hell, this year, so to say.

Apart from launching the new line of smartphones, the tech giant is also talking about a brand new operation system, the iOS 9.3. But all of these devices pale in comparison with the new iPad Air 3, which, according to the rumors looming around the Internet, will be a game changer.

Without further ado, here are the latest rumors about the iPad Air 3. First of all, before taking the plunge into the specs, let’s talk about a potential launch date.

Now, according to Apple’s official statements, the device should come out around March 2016. However, during Apple’s presentation event, taking place during September 2015, iPad’s Air 2 successor was missing altogether. Instead, Apple started to boast the newest iPad Pro, featuring a gigantic 12.2-inch screen.

Also, another tech site reported the fact that the tech giant is currently focusing on developing the iPad Mini 4, a lighter version of the anticipated high-spec tablet. Rumor has it that due to Apple’s reprioritization, iPad Air 3’s launch will be postponed until September 2016.

Taking all these rumors into account, it seems like the Air 3 will be launched either in March or in September, although Apple is well-known for its tendency to change the launching dates.

When talking about the latest rumors about the iPad Air 3, we should also take a closer look at the device’s specs. According to several unofficial sources, the Air 3’s chassis will be much lighter than Air 2’s chassis. This can help Apple stuff the new tablet with any number of cool features.

According to the leaked schematics, the new tablet will feature a 3-speaker system, 2 of them mounted on the top of the tablet while the other will remain at the bottom of the tablet. Also, taking a closer look at the tablet’s design, we also discover a built-in flash.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, chief editor at NowhereElse, described this addition as being useless, given the fact that customers can use smaller tablets in order to take pictures. In terms of design, the Air 3 tablet will be very thin (6.1 millimeters) and according to some hearsay, Apple wants to take advantage of the tablet’s slim dimension in order to waterproof the device.

Now, moving on to other technical capabilities, the tablet will include a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen, showcasing the 4K technologies. Air 3 will also be capable of rendering images at a maximum resolution of 2334 x 3112, with a color depth of 441ppi.

Unfortunately, the device will not feature the 3D touch technology, because Apple has decided to reserve the feature for other Apple devices. This rumor has been confirmed by Ming-Chi Kuo, a tech analyst working for KGI Securities. Kuo said that the reason behind Apple’s decision of withholding the 3D technology is fueled by a supply issue.

Allegedly, the Air 3 will come out of the box with A9X processor, and the whole system will be powered up by a 4GB RAM memory. The device will be compatible with iOS 9.0 or higher versions of the operating system. Also, Air 3 might come out in 2 versions: a 16GB version and a 32GB version.

Depending on the version, the retail price of the table might be around £400. Furthermore, we should bear in mind the fact that Apple has even decided to throw in the Apple Stylus, which works just fine with the iPad Pro.

In conclusion, all that we have to do around is wait a bit to see if Apple will launch the Air 3 in March or if they decide to postpone the launch date.
